You will be heard
You will be believed
You will feel understood
This is my promise to you

Hi, I'm Shannon

As a registered counsellor, I specialise in supporting *individuals through complex relationship dynamics, especially those involving narcissistic abuse and trauma.

(*Couples counselling will soon be available - use my contact form if you'd like to join the waitlist)

My passion for this work stems from knowing that our darkest times can hold valuable treasures. Our most difficult experiences can force us to grow in ways that make our lives more meaningful and complete - if we allow it!

If you're feeling stuck or trapped in a trauma bond, I can help guide you back to freedom.

If you're scared to take that big step to exit a toxic relationship, together we can unravel the patterns that hold you back and help you rediscover your strength and self-worth, so you can step into a healthier, more empowered future.

If you're wanting to find the missing pieces which are making you feel like you're sabotaging your relationships, we can search for them together.

Whatever your current situation is, you don't have to face it alone.

Why clients choose to book with me:

1. I'm often recommended to clients looking for a counsellor who specialises in narcissistic abuse and trauma bons.

For those who need it, talking to someone who truly understands the deep pain and confusion that comes from relationship dynamics is invaluable. It's like a superhighway to healing.

These clients usually report feeling stronger and having a much greater sense of clarity within the first few sessions.

I also offer counselling for a wide range of relationship issues including past relationship trauma, childhood trauma and building skills to enhance your current relationship.

2. My non-prescriptive approach means I won't be telling you what to do. For example, I'd never tell a client that they need to leave their relationship or have to go 'no contact' with someone.

I'm highly sensitive to power dynamics, and I'm aware of how important it is for you to be empowered rather than directed.

My work is centered around collaboration, safety and choice. Your autonomy is always respected.

3. As a neurodivergent (ADHDer), I naturally have an inclusive approach. I find it easy to connect with and understand clients who have different ways of thinking, and who have walked unconventional paths in life.

I connect just as easily with neurotypical clients too.

Not quite ready to make a booking?

Choosing a therapist can be a big step, especially if you've never had counselling before.

You may be afraid that it won't help, that you'll be judged and viewed as crazy or delusional, or that seeking support means you're failing at managing your own life... Perhaps you're concerned that you're not going to like your counsellor? I get it, I've been there myself.

Having a therapist is a lot like having a personal trainer.

Sure, you can go to the gym and do your own work out - all the equipment is there, plus there are tons of free exercise videos and programs available.

But when you have a personal trainer, the personalised support means you're getting the most out of each session (without overdoing it!), turbo-charging your progress. Your trainer is encouraging you to dig deep and empowering you to continue your transformative experience unassisted.

It's similar with counselling.

When you find the right therapist for you, you know they're in your corner as a strong and steady ally, no matter what. You can expose your fears, insecurities and shame, without fear of being judged.

This makes space for you to let go of things which no longer serve you, and find ways to more forward in your life with greater strength and confidence!

There are a number of ways to find out if I might be the right therapist for you:
